Xplace has opened in-app ordering for its physical Visa card, beginning with the Silver membership tier. The company confirmed the rollout in an August 25 post from its official account, with the flow live now: open the app, go to Card, and select Order physical card. Courier delivery is included in the price, and Xplace lists a 3 to 12 day arrival window.

Until this week, a physical Xplace card was a listed benefit without a way to request one. The product page carried the card as included at the Silver tier but marked shipping as pending for the third quarter. That gap is now closed for Silver holders, who can order the plastic directly rather than wait on a queue.

The Silver tier this attaches to

Silver is the first paid rung on Xplace, priced at $99 a year. It sits on the same model as the rest of the lineup: a non-custodial credit line on Solana, where you deposit SOL, jitoSOL, USDT, or wrapped BTC and ETH into Kamino Finance, that collateral keeps earning yield, and you borrow USDC against it to spend. The card runs on Visa, so acceptance is wherever Visa works.

For the $99 fee, Silver pays 2% USDC cashback on Credit Mode purchases, carries a 0.5% FX fee, a 0% card transaction fee, 3% XP, a $10,000 monthly spending cap, and one airport lounge visit a year. That 2% rate is the standing number after Xplace doubled Credit Mode cashback across every tier in July. Cash Mode spending, meaning deposited USDC rather than borrowed credit, earns half that at 1%.

The physical card is the same product whether you order it now or hold the virtual version. Virtual issuance still happens instantly after KYC, with Apple Pay and Google Pay support, so the plastic is for in-person situations where a tap or chip is easier than a phone, plus the handful of merchants that still ask for a card present.

Practical notes before ordering

A physical card matters most at the margins that virtual cards struggle with. Pre-authorization merchants such as gas pumps, hotels, and car rental desks place holds that can behave unpredictably on prepaid-style rails, and a chip card in hand sometimes clears a terminal that a mobile wallet does not. If your spending leans toward travel and in-person retail, the physical card removes a friction point.

One timing detail is worth weighing against the order decision. Xplace has a cashback transition dated September 14: Silver memberships bought before that date keep the current 2% Credit Mode and 1% Cash Mode rates for up to 12 months from purchase, while memberships bought on or after it earn 1% in Credit Mode and 0% in Cash Mode. The physical card rollout does not change those economics, but anyone deciding whether to start a Silver membership at all is doing that math against the same deadline.

Worth keeping in view: the disclosed fees are not the whole cost of spending on any crypto-backed card. The Visa network spread, the crypto-to-USDC conversion at the point of sale, and the variable Kamino borrow APR on Credit Mode balances all sit underneath the headline 0.5% FX and 2% cashback. Silver recovers its $99 fee at a little over $400 of monthly cashback-eligible spend, before those layers are counted.

Overview

Xplace has made its physical Visa orderable in-app for Silver members, closing a gap where the card was a listed perk without a delivery path. Courier shipping is included, with a 3 to 12 day window. The move applies to the $99 Silver tier first, which pays 2% USDC cashback rewards, charges 0.5% FX, and rides a non-custodial Kamino-backed credit line on Solana. Anyone considering Silver should note the September 14 cashback transition, which locks in current rates only for memberships bought before that date.
