Jupiter has turned on any-token funding for the Jupiter Card. In a post on September 23, 2026, the team's mobile account said cardholders can now pick any token from any of their wallets and send it straight to their card balance in one transaction, ready to spend. The change is live in the Jupiter Mobile app.
Before this, loading a crypto card usually meant a two-step chore: swap whatever you held into a supported token, then top up. Jupiter has folded both steps into a single tap. The swap and the top-up happen together, so the token you hold and the balance you spend no longer have to match.
The friction it removes
Most crypto cards accept a short list of fundable assets, typically a stablecoin or the chain's native coin. Holders of anything else had to route through a decentralized exchange first, approve the swap, wait for settlement, then fund the card. On Solana that is fast and cheap, but it is still three or four deliberate actions before you can pay for coffee.
Collapsing that into one transaction matters most for people whose balances sit in long-tail tokens rather than USDC. For them, the card was effectively locked behind a manual conversion every time the balance ran low. Now the whole portfolio is spendable without leaving the app.
The cost sits in the spread
One transaction is not the same as one price. Any-token funding still runs a swap under the hood, and that swap carries a conversion spread. When you fund from a deep, liquid pair the cost is small; when you fund from a thin one, the effective rate you get can be noticeably worse than the screen suggests. That cost is separate from the network and issuer fees every card charges.
This does not change Jupiter's cashback math. The card's headline reward is capped, so the real return after foreign-exchange handling and the monthly ceiling lands well below the sticker rate for most spenders. Any-token funding makes the card more convenient, not more generous.
Advice for existing cardholders
Existing Jupiter Global users do not need to do anything beyond updating Jupiter Mobile. The next time you top up, the app should let you choose any held token as the funding source. For routine spending, funding from a stablecoin balance still gives the tightest conversion; reserve any-token funding for the times you would rather spend a volatile position directly than sit through a separate swap.
The feature is a quality-of-life upgrade for Solana-native users who keep their value spread across tokens. It is not a fee change or a rewards change, and Jupiter did not announce one.
Overview
Jupiter Card can now be funded with any token in a user's wallet in a single transaction through Jupiter Mobile, removing the manual swap-to-stablecoin step. The convenience is real, but the swap spread still applies at funding time, and the card's capped cashback is unchanged.
