Securitize has added 13 stocks to its Solana-based equity product, taking the lineup to 25. CoinMarketCap reported the expansion on November 3, following Securitize's November 2 announcement. The additions include Exxon Mobil, Disney, Salesforce and GameStop.
Securitize Stocks began on October 8 with 12 stocks. The expansion more than doubles its selection before the product's first month is complete.
Thirteen Additions Broaden the Selection
The complete new batch comprises Arista Networks, Flex, Exxon Mobil, GameStop, Johnson & Johnson, Lockheed Martin, Lumentum, Merck, Salesforce, Seagate Technology, Texas Instruments, Disney and Uber.
The catalogue has grown by approximately 108%, calculated from the original 12 names. That figure measures the increase in available stocks; it does not establish trading demand or the amount investors have committed to them.
Investors already using Securitize Stocks can choose among more underlying businesses through the same infrastructure, without moving to a different tokenized-stock provider.
Share Backing and Trading Access Remain Separate Questions
Securitize's October launch announcement described tokens backed one-for-one by underlying shares, with applicable dividends and voting rights. The shares backing the tokens are not lent out.
Investors hold security entitlements and are not registered shareholders of the underlying companies unless they convert. Conversion into shares on a company's register depends on that company adopting issuer-sponsored tokenization. The underlying companies have not sponsored or endorsed these tokens.
For users accustomed to holding crypto directly, owning these tokens still involves an intermediary relationship around the underlying security. Blockchain ownership records do not remove that relationship.
Trading uses Solana, with Jump Trading supporting liquidity infrastructure and transactions settling in USDC. Access remains subject to onboarding, identity checks and jurisdictional eligibility, including for eligible investors in the United States.
Securitize's launch announcement said trading beyond traditional market hours is available and 24/7 availability remains planned. The expanded catalogue does not mean every proposed trading arrangement is already operational.
Overview
Securitize added 13 stocks to its existing Solana product, bringing the selection to 25. Tokens are backed one-for-one by shares. Eligible investors hold security entitlements, with direct shareholder registration conditional on conversion and the underlying company's adoption of issuer-sponsored tokenization.
