SpendNode LLC ("SpendNode", "we", "us") operates spendnode.io. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how we handle it.

1. Data We Collect

Browsing Data (All Visitors)

• Regional preference cookie: A small browser cookie (cc_region) stores your selected region (e.g., "US" or "EEA") so we show cards available in your location.
• Consent cookie: A cookie (cc_consent) records whether you accepted or declined analytics tracking.
• Disclaimer cookie: A cookie (cc_disclaimer_dismissed) records whether you dismissed the site disclaimer banner.

Analytics (With Consent)

We use Google Tag Manager (GTM) and Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site. For visitors in the European Economic Area (EEA), UK, and other jurisdictions that require consent, analytics tracking is blocked by default until you explicitly grant consent via the cookie banner. Non-EEA visitors have analytics enabled by default.

Analytics data includes: pages visited, time on site, referral source, device type, and approximate geographic region. We do not collect names, email addresses, or other personally identifiable information through analytics.

Newsletter Subscribers

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your name and email address. We use Resend to send emails. A double opt-in confirmation email is sent before you are added to the list. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every email.

Contact Emails

If you email us at hello@spendnode.io, we retain your email address and message content solely to respond to your inquiry.

Get Listed / Payment Data

If you submit a card listing request through our Get Listed page, we collect the information you provide in the form (company name, card details, contact email). Payments are processed by NOWPayments. We do not store your payment credentials. NOWPayments handles payment processing under their own privacy policy.

2. Cookies

Third-party cookies may be set by Google Tag Manager and Google AdSense if you grant consent.

3. Third-Party Services

• Google Tag Manager / Analytics: Site usage analytics (consent-gated for EEA/UK visitors).
• Google AdSense: May display ads and set cookies (consent-gated for EEA/UK visitors).
• Resend: Email delivery for newsletter.
• NOWPayments: Crypto payment processing for listing fees.
• Vercel: Site hosting and edge network.

Each service operates under its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review them.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your data. We share data only with the third-party services listed above, and only to the extent necessary to operate the site (e.g., sending your email to Resend to deliver the newsletter you subscribed to).

5. Affiliate Links

SpendNode earns revenue through affiliate partnerships with some card issuers. When you click an "Apply Now" link, you may be redirected to the issuer's site, which may set its own cookies and track referrals. See our Affiliate Disclosure for full details.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, email us at hello@spendnode.io. We will respond within 30 days.

7. Security

We use HTTPS/TLS encryption across the entire site. Newsletter subscriber data is stored by Resend. Payment data is handled by NOWPayments. We do not maintain a separate database of user credentials.

8. Children

SpendNode is not directed at anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as features change. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date.
